What We Accept

Goodwill transforms your donations into education, training and job placement programs that help individuals with barriers to employment experience the “Power of Work.” We greatly appreciate donations that can be sold in our stores to support our mission. When you are sorting out those items from your closets or home, ask yourself, "Would I give this to a friend?" If you answer yes, then Goodwill could put it to good use in one of our stores.

Items We are Unable to Accept
All donations we receive for sale in our stores are greatly appreciated, although there are items that are unsuitable, or we are unable to sell to our shoppers. In the case of these goods, we must pay to dispose of them, which raises our expenses and reduces the revenues available for our job training, education and job placement services.

Please dispose of these items listed below through an alternative responsible resource, such as your local recycling center.

Speaking of Recycling, Goodwill does accept television sets and computer monitors to be recycled.  Click on E-Waste for more information.
