Store Manager
Summary Description:
To manage the daily operations of assigned retail store. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, merchandising and inventory. Responsible for maintaining store in an orderly fashion, rotating merchandise, overseeing the productions and pricing of merchandise. Managing inventory for maximum return on product. Supervising and training all store personnel including new employees. Responsible for store safety. Responsible for assuring a high level of customer and donor service. Assure Goodwill policy and procedures are uniformly adhered. **BENEFITS after 90 days successful completion of Introductory Period including health insurance, vacation, sick and holiday. P/T employees they receive half of the benefits.** Goodwill also offers a monthly bonus/incentive program.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or its equivalent. Three to five years experience in retail sales with two to three years experience in supervisory position. Positive work history. Ability to understand complex instructions. Knowledge of retail and supervision of others. Understanding of value added process. Fluent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Cooperation with Division Director and direct supervisors. Ability to supervise, direct, motivate, discipline staff as necessary. Ability to work well with the public. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
